1. Eligibility:
    • The prize draw is open to individuals residing in New Zealand who are subscribed to the University of Auckland’s Executive and Professional Development (EPD) database.
    • Participants must be aged 18 or over.
    • Employees of the University of Auckland and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
  2. Entry:
    • To enter the prize draw, participants must complete the provided survey in full.
    • Only one entry per person is allowed.
    • No purchase or payment is necessary to enter the prize draw.
    • The closing date for survey submissions and prize draw entries is 16 Oct 2024.
  3. Prize:
    • The prize consists of two Executive and Professional Development short courses (either Artificial Intelligence (AI) Essentials or Sustainable Business Practices: Integrating ESG and SDGs into Corporate Strategy) with one course awarded to each of two separate winners.
    • The prize covers only the course fees. Any additional costs related to the course, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, and course materials, will be the responsibility of the winners.
    • The short courses must be attended at the University of Auckland Business School during the 2024 calendar year. If a winner is unable to attend within this period, the prize will be forfeited, and no alternative prize or compensation will be offered.
  4. Winner Selection and Notification:
    • Two winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
    • Winners will be notified via the email address provided when entering the survey within one week of the closing date.
    • If a winner does not respond within  one week of the notification, the University of Auckland reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  5. Prize Redemption:
    • Winners will be provided with information on how to enrol in the available short courses.
    • The courses must be attended in person at the University of Auckland’s Executive and Professional Development programme in 2024.
    • The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative is available.
  6. Privacy and Data Protection:
    • Personal data collected as part of the survey will only be used for the purposes of the prize draw and will not be shared with third parties. Participants’ responses may be anonymised and used for research and programme development purposes.
    • Data will be handled in accordance with the University of Auckland’s privacy policy and the Privacy Act 2020.
  7. General:
    • The University of Auckland reserves the right to modify, cancel, or terminate this prize draw in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
    • By entering the prize draw, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
